Mutual Bancorp Employees Help Direct $120,000 in Grants to Local Nonprofits through Employee-Voted Grant Program
Release Date: September 16, 2026
Hyannis, MA – Employees across the Mutual Bancorp family of banks have helped direct $120,000 in charitable funding to 12 nonprofit organizations making a meaningful difference in communities throughout Massachusetts.
Through the annual employee-voted nonprofit grant program, colleagues from Bluestone Bank, Cape Cod 5 and Fidelity Bank had the opportunity to vote for organizations within the regions their respective banks serve. The selected nonprofits each received a $10,000 grant through the respective bank’s Charitable Endowment or Foundation, putting employees at the center of an important part of the organization’s community giving.
The program reflects a shared commitment across the Mutual Bancorp family to investing in the strength and vitality of local communities across Massachusetts while empowering employees who live, work and volunteer in these regions to help identify organizations making an impact close to home. This builds on the banks’ broader commitments to philanthropy, nonprofit partnerships and employee engagement in their communities.
